December Daily | 21

I didn't pick up my camera today. We were simply too busy! Luckily, I've got a few gems from Noah's camera to share.

Yesterday, Noah and Ellie went to the movies with Nana, Aunt BB, and Aunt Jessie to see Arthur Christmas and give Ben and I some time to work on moving stuff. Noah insisted on taking his camera with him, so I let him... on the condition that he took some photos for me. He got an early start by photographing some of his lunch:

They {all five of them!} definitely enjoyed themselves!

One Last Day of 1

Ellie will be two tomorrow.

We had our one last day of "one" today.

One has been silly. And slightly sassy. One has definitely been beautiful.


One has been full of chasing after and wanting to be just like Bubbie.

One has been fun, Ellie, but I can't wait to see all the amazing and wonderful things that TWO is going to bring.

We're still having some issues with sleeping. We did great with the tent on the pack and play until last week and since then, it's been hit or miss. She prefers her "priddy bed" over her "mon'ey bed", but I prefer sleep over no sleep. For all three of us.

Last night was not a good night for sleep.

And, as a result, Ellie passed out on the chair while watching Signing Time while I was getting lunch started.

She was too cute and too fast asleep for me to not grab my camera.

Evidently I wasn't the only person who thought so.

N: "I need to take her pish'ure too, Mommy. She's so sleepy and cute."

N: "My cars need their pish'ure taken too. Look, see, Mommy? {Showing me on the playback.} There's McQueen and 'sesco."

And, just because I uncovered these beauties while uploading photos from his recent photoshoots:

And, just because, Aunt BB helped him and Ellie check out some photos with of his Mommy and Aunts as babies just before bathtime. ♥

Monday | According to Noah

N: "Mommy, you n' Ellie smile an' I'll take your pish'ure."

N: "Now just you, Mommy. SMMMMM-ile!"

N: "NNNooooo Ellie! I'm takn' YOUR pish'ure! You can't have my camera!"

N: "It's not time for bed... I. need. to. take. your. PISH'URE!"

Not a clue where he gets the attitude or pish'ure-taking-desire from.

Lions, and Tigers, and Chrysalides! {Oh my!}

This morning, after everybody got ready, we loaded up and headed out to the zoo. We I had been debating about getting another zoo pass and I'm glad we went ahead and did it - the kids LOVE the zoo!

{Ummm.... Ben. Turkey Vulture? Seems pretty close to those Texas Chicken Vultures to me!}

Before we left, I asked Noah if he wanted to take his camera and of course, he did.

After naps for the kids, MarioKart for everyone!

One of my favorite things about Grandma being here? She and Daddy do bathtime!

And, in other news, we came home last night from dinner to find one chrysalis!

Tonight, Chris and I got to watch TWO of them shed their skin to reveal the chrysalis underneath and I even caught one of them on video... just for ya'll!

Birthday {Take Two}

I love that she loves to snuggle with Papa in the mornings and enjoy a little tv-time.

The balloons from yesterday have been de-photo-ed and moved to the living room for the kid's enjoyment. Noah keeps calling them "Daddy's birthday party balloons".


Grami and Papa Snow came over for lunch and to continue the celebration of Ben's birthday.


After I got my camera out, Noah got his out too...


But his biggest interest? A chocolate sheet cake for Ben's birthday:

After naptime, we took some of the balloons outside in hopes of getting a couple of cute photos.

They didn't last long.

Dinner {Routine}

Every time I upload photos from Noah's camera, I love the little gems that I find:

We have a pretty regular routine around here for meals. Most of the time, it looks like this:

Prayers

Mommy: "Thank you Jesus..."

Noah: "for our food. Amen."

Ellie: "Ahhh-nnn."

On the Menu
{leftover} Crescent Roll Pizza with squash infused pizza sauce

green beans

apples and peaches

teddy bears {with chocolate & peanut butter for Noah}

Cute little feet hanging from their chairs

Noah: "Ellllllie, sit down. Sit down with Noah!"

Mommy: "Ellie, sit down in your chair at the table or you'll have to sit in your highchair."

Ellie: laughing and munching on her pizza as I sit her in her chair

And repeat... four or five times until either she finishes eating or I put her in her highchair.
