A VERY Long Non-April Fool's Day

Sheesh. Seriously, I thought April Fool's Day was yesterday.

Noah woke up sick - a very runny nose, cough, and slight temperature. He eventually even got sick once. Thank goodness it was only once.
The winds around here have been ridiculous. I had always thought the wind in general in Oklahoma and the Santa Ana's in California were crazy and out of control, but this beats it all. We've known for a couple of weeks that the gate on our fence needed to be replaced... we just didn't actually expect it to fall. And fall onto the new Sequoia.

And that's all before noon. Actually, all before 11AM.

Luckily, Ben was able to come home at lunch to remove the fence off the car {I tried, but couldn't lift it} and there was little damage to the car. Just a few scratches that we're hoping he can buff out. The fence, however, is still down and will be until we hire someone to fix it. And, thankfully, Noah woke up from his afternoon nap with only a {clear} runny nose and seeming to feel much better. So much better, actually, that after his bath tonight, I took this video of Noah and Ben:

He's our little rockstar. Even when he's got a runny nose.
